Most clients adopt one of three cadences. Your technician recommends a rhythm based on device count, co-signer availability, and how long since your last confirmed unlock.
Standard cadence framework
Q1 · January–March
Primary device verification. Firmware check. Binder stamp. Test transaction to self-controlled address.
Q2 · April–June
Secondary device or backup path verification. Co-signer attendance if multi-sig.
Q3 · July–September
Primary device re-check. Backup card condition inspection. Appendix sleeve review.
Q4 · October–December
Full inventory reconciliation. Next-year schedule printed. Heir briefing if inheritance binder active.
Choosing your interval
| Cadence | Best for | Visits per year |
|---|---|---|
| Quarterly | Multi-device households, holdings above personal comfort threshold | 4 |
| Semi-annual | Single-device holders with stable setups | 2 |
| Annual | Supplementary check only; not recommended as sole discipline | 1 |
We send calendar invitations with preparation checklists seven days before each booked slot. Missed appointments may be rescheduled once without fee under our refund policy.
